Stefan Struve will be living up to the nickname “Skyscraper” in his upcoming fight. At 6’11”, Struve is pretty much guaranteed to have the height and reach advantage. He will be using them against his next opponent Pat Barry, who is 5’11” tall. With a one foot height difference, Stefan will try to keep Barry on the outside and look to employ his superb kickboxing skills. Struve is looking to rebound from his recent (T)KO loss to Travis Browne. At the tender age of 23, Stefan is one of the youngest fighters in the UFC and has a great future ahead of him. Struve will look to learn from his recent loss and then take what he learned and move forward. With a 25-5 record already, there isn’t much he hasn’t encountered in the fight game, but he is preparing for anything. His opponent, Pat Barry, is a kickboxing powerhouse and loves to bang. Struve will do his best to stay away from the brawl and instead use a crisp, clean striking technique. If the fight does go to the ground, Stephan has a great submission game and will look to use his long limbs to sink in a triangle or guillotine choke and put Pat to sleep. Struve is young, talented, experienced and hungry for a win. Look for Stefan to start out on the offensive and take it straight to Barry. Hayabusa is excited to partner with Stefan Struve and wishes him success in his upcoming fight.
Anthony “Rumble” Johnson is one of the biggest fighters in the welterweight division.
At 6’2”, he is physically imposing, has devastating power and ridiculously fast hands. Johnson, for all of his size and power, is blindingly fast and accurate. Anthony is one of the most devastating strikers, with 6 wins by KO or TKO, and has a wrestling pedigree that helps him keep the fight where he wants it. His opponent, Charlie Brenneman, is riding the momentum of his last fight against Rick Story. “Rumble” will have to be on top of his game and will need to use all his speed and power to counter the relentless attack of Brenneman. Johnson is poised to take the next step up the ladder towards the ultimate goal of UFC gold. Anthony has the potential to be one of the greatest in the welterweight division and just needs to put all his skills together. We are proud that Anthony Johnson chooses Hayabusa and we look forward to another exciting fight. “Let’s get ready for RUMBLE!”
Hayabusa would also like to wish Paul Sass and Raphael Oliveria success in their upcoming fights. Both fighters look to take the next step up the ladder in the stacked lightweight division. Hayabusa welcomes the opportunity to work with these lightweight fighters and we are looking forward to two amazing fights.
