Sydney, Australia:  Alves vs. Kampmann

The UFC introduced the lighter weight classes recently and they have been received with great enthusiasm. The speed, technique and athleticism of 145 lb. and 135 lb. fighters is amazing. Now, it is the flyweight fighters chance to shine. These 125 lb. warriors are ready to blaze ahead, but they need a champion. The UFC has decided to take four of the greatest flyweight fighters and have a tournament. Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall was one of the first fighters tapped to enter the tournament. With a mixed run in the WEC’s Bantamweight division, McCall decided to head down to a more natural weight of 125 lbs. This proved to be the best decision of his life. He is undefeated in the flyweight division and is ranked #1 by many pundits. McCall is explosive, determined and always willing to engage. Ian has held championships in other organizations, but when the UFC taps you on the shoulder, you know it is time to go to the big show. ‘Uncle Creepy’ has a tough test ahead of him when he takes on Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson. Ian has proven that he can hang with the best in the world and will look to prove that he belongs at the top. This will be the first step in the journey towards UFC gold. Hayabusa is excited to partner with Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall and wishes him the best of luck in his journey towards a coveted UFC championship.

Hayabusa will be well represented as Mackens Semerzier, Jake Hecht, Steve Siler, and Nick Penner all chose to train and compete in Hayabusa. Top athletes chose the best equipment in the industry; Hayabusa. Continuing with the tradition of creating the best,Hayabusa is proud to announce the launch of the new tokushu™ series.

UFC on Fuel TV SANCHEZ VS ELLENBERGER

UFC on Fuel TV SANCHEZ VS ELLENBERGER

Multiple time ‘fight of the night winner’ Diego ‘The Dream’ Sanchez is looking to make another run at the title. This welterweight fighter dropped to 155 lbs. for a few fights, lost a lightweight title fight against BJ Penn, but is now back at 170 lbs. were he feels most comfortable. With a renewed drive and a more determined focus on the welterweight division, Sanchez is on the hunt for another title shot. A long standing member of Jackson’s MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico, ‘The Dream’ is one of the most experienced, well-rounded and innately talented fighters in the UFC. Diego has the mental edge and always believes he is going to win. This is most evident in his ring entrance, as his focus and self-affirmation chanting is legendary. Winning season one of TUF was the start of a meteoric rise that saw Sanchez win 5 straight, before losing back to back fights against Josh Koscheck and Jon Fitch. A few fights later, Diego would make a run for the lightweight title, but come up short against BJ Penn. Sanchez has returned to welterweight, where he feels he is more suited, and is looking to continue his winning streak. His opponent, Jake Ellenberger is riding a 5 fight win streak and is coming off a first round KO of former UFC welterweight title contender, and former Strikeforce champ, Jake Shields. Diego will be up for the challenge and is ready to keep on winning and move one step closer to title contention. Hayabusa is excited to partner with Diego ‘The Dream’ Sanchez and wishes him the best of luck in this pivotal fight.

Stipe Miocic is ready to make an impact in the UFC heavyweight division. In his Octagon debut, Stipe stood for three rounds with Joey Beltran and won a unanimous decision. Now that he has that pivotal first UFC fight behind him, Miocic is ready to get down business and keep on winning. Undefeated in is MMA career, Stipe prepares to face off against fellow undefeated heavyweight Phil DeFries. DeFries is a solid grappler, but Stipe has great technical striking to go with an underrated wrestling game. Miocic, a former golden gloves champ, has finished 6 of his 7 fights by (T)KO and is one of the most dangerous up and coming fighters in the UFC heavyweight division. Look for Stipe to keep this fight on the feet and do what he does best, knock people out. Stipe Miocic chooses to train and compete inHayabusaHayabusa is proud to partner with Stipe and wishes this rising star good fortune in his upcoming heavyweight showdown.

Hayabusa would also like to wish Jonathan Brookins and Ivan Menjivar the best of luck in their upcoming fights. These two athletes both choose to train and fight wearingHayabusaHayabusa is expecting great things from these two warriors.

UFC 150 Hayabusa Sponsored Fighters

Congratulations to Jake Shields, following his win over Ed Herman last weekend at UFC 150 in Denver. Shields, wearing the Hayabusa Black Chikara Fight Shorts, proved to be too strong for Herman as he came away with the unanimous decision win on the night. It was Shields’ solid ground work on the night that gave him the edge as Ed Herman seemingly played in to his opponents strengths with his approach.

We would like to wish Justin “The American Kidd” Lawrence better luck for next time after his loss against the youngest fighter on the UFC roster, Max Holloway. After an impressive display of striking ability, Lawrence, wearing the Red Hayabusa Chikara Fight Shorts, could not withstand the body shots dished out by Holloway, resulting in an unfortunate 2nd round TKO stoppage.
